LIGHTS GO ON AGAIN

I feel super guilty that I haven’t been properly active in Blogger in ages. Usually I would have one or two posts just waiting but unfortunately I haven’t written anything in ages.

This is because:

  1. I’m too lazy.
  2. I’m too busy.
  3. I’m too tired.
  4. I’ve ran out of ideas.

This makes me sad because I want to blog. It is frustrating!

Anywho, here is the list that I prepared before my exams had ended. Shall we see how it is getting on?

Completed:

  • Finish my exams: Yes I have completed this, not successfully, but it is done.
  • Get a job and earn some money: Laugh if you will, but I am currently employed in my Dad’s electrical business. I’ve been out working with him. Yes, manual work. No, I’m not joking. Money is money, serious stuff.
  • Clean out my room: I recently got my whole room varnished (it’s entirely built of wood) so it was calling for a makeover. I shall blog about this soon! It just hasn’t been tidy enough to even consider taking pictures of it.
  • Send a MAMMOTH amount of fan-mail to different celebrities and test how many will return: YES! I sent away 9 letters last week. Those included were Helen Mirren, Michael McIntyre, Kenneth Branagh, Judi Dench, Colin Firth, Daniel Craig, Jamie Oliver, Keira Knightly and Sienna Millar. Will I get any back...who knows! Fingers crossed.
  • Get my ears pierced: I got them pierced a fortnight ago, which means this is ticked off my Bucket List too. You may wonder why I did, after waiting for 18 years. Mainly because I felt I was missing out. It was annoying shopping and seeing an awesome pairs of earrings and not being able to purchase them, so why not just fix the problem and stop being so awkward about it?

Not Completed Yet:

  • Learn how to use Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Audacity and Premiere to prepare for my Interactive Media Arts course in Colraine: I actually had forgotten I had planned to do this...I still have two months off.
  • Learn how to use my graphics tablet: Again, two months off. I’ll get round to it.
  • Attempt to practice some photography: Why on earth did I write this one??
  • Prepare stuff for university: In due time my friend.
  • Order more Snapfish photos: I had planned to do this tonight, but I’m blogging instead.
  • Paint some big-ass pictures with acrylic paint: I need to practice little paintings first. I’ve done a total of two but hope to produce more in the next few weeks.
  • Have a container sleepover party: This is in preparation. I am currently cleaning and redecorating the container (I shall blog about this too) we just need a night that suits everyone!
  • Organise a meet-up/dinner with ‘our lot’ from school: Forgot about this one too, but I think John or Kerri is planning something instead.

Getting there...

  • Start driving again: Yah, if someone else asks me about driving I’ll slap their head in. It’s annoying enough that they have changed the test at the end of June. Just making it more difficult for me. I have been out numerous times but it’s surprisingly hard to make times for things you don’t like doing.
  • Exercise loads and obtain my goal weight: I’ve been at Slimming World for about 12 weeks now and to be honest, I’m getting nowhere. I lost 1 1/2lbs last week but I could do so much better. It’s hard when I’m out and about to keep following the plan.
  • Get a £1 coin money box, collect £1, £2 and notes and not to touch it. Behold! Hundreds of pounds gathered very quickly! : This is going well! I still haven’t touched the money box. It’s very tempting to though. It’s a good way to save so I recommend it.
  • Have some more container parties before my friends desert me forever: Friends have been here numerous times already but when the container is finally decorated it will definitely be PARTY TIME.
  • Redecorate the container: It is time for the container to get a makeover. It’s a sin I don’t look after it as well as I could. It’s currently getting walls done with new posters and pictures so fingers crossed it will turn out nice.
  • Photo blog on Chictopia regularly: For those who don’t know, Chictopia is a community where the users post photographs of themselves, for fashion purposes, and the others post their opinions. Most of the users are absolutely gorgeous, and their photos are very professional, but James, Kerri and I do it for the craic and ours is pitiful. You can find our profile pages here, here and here.

No.

  • Go to France and see SM Town on the 10th June: Clearly this did not happen because I did not get tickets (those tickets were as hard to obtain as the 2012 London Olympic tickets) and I would have otherwise blogged about it continously forever.
  • Go to London on 19th June and stalk SHINee: Again, this didn’t happen because I’m broke and to be frank, just don’t care enough. Although it was extremely painful watching fancam footage of the five gloriously walking through Heathrow airport.
  • Get back to the gym! : Blah! Super angry at this one, I CAN’T go back to the gym because my membership has been cancelled. Since I’m going to university in September Mum thought it would be more sensible to save the money spent there to put towards uni funds.

I have also added a few extra ones:

  • Watch a new drama.
  • Upload new art pieces onto Deviant Art.
  • Meet up with various people over the summer.

And so it may continue...

Until next time,

- Claudia

ELECTRIC HIGH

I am finding more and more difficult everyday completing the simple task of constructing a blog post.

First of all, 5 (possibly more, who knows) of my friends have created a Blogger account in the last month. I think my mind is restricting my blog ideas because I’ve become rather focused on reading their posts instead. Not only that I’m reading theirs, but they are reading mine too! And possibly few other people as well. So I’m more on demand for blog updates. ;) jk jk. :P

What else have I been up to recently? School. Gym. Art. Dieting. Reading. I’m content with what I have on my plate at the moment. I don’t feel stressed over anything and nor am I procrastinating over things that I should be doing instead. It’s a marvelous feeling.

Ah, the splendor of Autumnal weather! Too early to study for exams and get prepared for Christmas but is perfect to wrap up in those cosy jackets and trench coats!

I hardly ever have a title for blog posts, so today it is an Elliot Minor song.

DREAMS

Hello,
Haven't blogged properly in a while, well that's the way it feels. I've been busy, but at the same time I haven't done much. I really need to start preparing for my art exam in school, but I just can't be bothered.
I have dreamed like every night this week, I do like that. I look forward to sleeping now. I think last night was the best night of sleep I've had in months. But I wonder why it has started. After asking Kerri and Emma, they said they were dreaming a lot too. And Jared tells me his silly dreams every morning when we are walking down the road to get the school bus, so he has been dreaming too. Let's hope it continues.
During the day I've been in a good mood for no particular reason, especially today. I was at the gym this morning, then Jared, Mum and I went and got coffee. Now I'm home and the house is peaceful.
I can't wait for London! We had another meeting on Thursday and every time we do I get even more excited. We are only there for like 5 days, but our schedule is jam-packed.
Darn, Mum just appeared from nowhere and decided she wants to help clean out my wardrobe. I must leave. More later.

UPDATE

I took a day off school today to revise. I never do that. It's weird.
I haven't started yet.
But I have started to IRON! I hate it.

Okay, here is how the New Year's Resolutions are going:

Be crazy and adventurous:-
  • Go out in the weekend
  • Try new food- Mum gave me lamb chop for dinner yesterday and I was near sick.
  • Wear different clothes
  • Go different places
  • Listen to range of music-Started to listen to more K-Pop, love it!
  • Learn new language-Learning Korean.
  • Watch movies- I have Transformers to watch.
  • Plan events and carry them out.- Currently planning LONDON. My Birthday party too, less than a month.
Meet new people- hmm, I don't know if I have done this one yet or not.
Become closer to God- I should really have more quiet time.
Learn to drive- STILL not behind the wheel. But I sent my provisional away yesterday!
Save money- I put money into my bank account there on Tuesday. Desperately trying to save for London at Easter.
Become nicer to people- Temper? Okay I guess.. but I have been moody round the house, possibly exam stress. And I don't swear as much, that's good. I think I have been more polite, but I forgot about this resolution so these are all guesses.
Lose Weight- die die die die die die die
Exercise- woo! I was at the Gym on Tuesday evening and I think I'm going again tonight. I wonder will the fit Chinese man be there...
Become more creative- fail fail fail!! I haven't done any "fun" art yet, just school stuff. Actually quite proud of my school stuff though...
Volunteer- No, still lazy and useless as ever.
Pass exams- Well this isn't going to happen if I don't start revising!!!
WILLPOWER
WILLPOWER
WILLPOWER

Emma and I saw Kerri dance to "It's You" last night. It was amazing. I scorn my foolish younger self for refusing to go to ballet when Mother asked me to.

CH-CH-CHANGES

I want to write a blog about new year's resolutions. Here goes.

Become closer to God- I've been so distant recently it's embarrassing. Due to going to bed so late, I haven't had time for quiet time, and my prayers are a mumbley mess. I need to get back into routine of putting God first in my life. This just hasn't been happening.

Be crazy and adventurous- I'm just so lazy! I sit in every weekend. I need to get out more, experience new stuff; like try new food, wear different clothes, go different places, listen to a range of music, learn a new language, watch movies, plan events and carry them out.

Meet new people- I seem to hang out with the same old crowd all the time, I would love to meet new people and have a wider range of friends. I'm really quiet though, and most of the time I don't have a clue what to say to people. I shall conker this! *determined face*

Learn to drive- Something I dread, but it must be done! Actually, dad was looking for a car for me last night, and I did get excited about it. I'm hopeless at theory (to put it this way, I scraped my cycling proficiency when I was 11) But there is a lot of thickos who have their test, so maybe it's not as hard as it looks?

Save Money- HAH well this is mission impossible- due to the fact I need money to run a future car, and that I just love spending cash. I will be more careful on what I spend money on. I don't have a job- that could go on the list too.

Become nicer to people- I have the worst temper, I need to learn to control it. I also need to become more polite because I'm sometimes rude and don't even realise. Whoops. I also have started this habit of swearing under my breath, or replacing swear words with these made up words (example: ssssss..sugarbooger. or. "si-ah-hash-sheesh" which is basically Parseltongue in Harry Potter. lawl.)

Lose weight- Okay, even half a stone I would be happy with. I have NO willpower whatsoever, probably the same willpower as a smoker trying to quit. It's like battling the Blob in Scribblenauts; You can't win.

Exercise- This ties in with point above. Try and get to the gym once a week, twice if I'm lucky.

Become more creative- Blog often, keep a planner (I have for the last two years running, it's definitely one of my better ideas) draw often;- put this art onto deviantart, perhaps make a YouTube video? Photoshop loads (that reminds me I need to get my Corel Photoshop off Sarah.)

Volunteer- Once again, I am lazy and not willing to help others. I need to write a CV in the near future, if I don't do something about it, it will be an empty CV. Not cool man.

Pass exams- Flip I haven't started revision! My whole school stuff is going downhill. I'm just so lazy. Work work work work work work work in 2010 Claudia.

Til my next blogging session,
Claudia. :)

TWOTHOUSANDANDTEN

Hello! Okay a quick last 2009 post.

Wow! Hasn't this year gone fast?

2009 was awesome I must admit, I don't know why.

What happened this year anyway?

I shopped a lot.

Made a few new friends.

Joined the gym.

My hair grew.

I got G.C.S.E results- that's a good start.

Back in 6th form.

I obsessed over a few things.

This is me, Claudia, wishing you a Happy New Year and an enjoyable 2010. :)

LAST FM

Hey,

Ha now I'm back from the gym. I had just settled down to write my blog then Mum told me that if I was going to the gym I needed to leave right now. Since I didn't get last week, I was in bad need of it. It really helped, as I've felt crappy all day. My head has been sore and I was really really tired. But I think it has woke me up now. I feel great! :D

I saw the musical last night. I was impressed. It was very funny, and a BIG improvement from the Monday afternoon performance. (which sucked.) Everything possible went wrong then; Mr Chestnut, our R.E teacher was playing the part of Tracy's mum (played by John Travolta in the movie version) and as he danced, his "fat" fell out from under his dress and to make things worse, his wig fell off. This doesn't help from the fact that he is actually bald. ^_^

At least last night was better, which was surprising, because it's the opening night, and it never goes that well.

Anywho, I have been recommended to visit this site. It's called LastFM. It's weird how I never heard of it before, but it is BRILLIANT! I've been hooked on it all evening, just listening to music, making playlists, customising my profile and it connects to my iTunes!! It shows the artists I have listened to most! (geek) LOOK:

Check out Chameleon Circuit! They are really cool. Note: I share my iTunes with Jared's iPod too, hence why Super Junior have been listened to so much....

GYM

Dang!
I was about to write a long entry and now I'm going to the gym.
Later dudes.
