P is for...

Presents.

Today I am Santa Claudz. It is not Christmas. I am not rich or have excess to unlimited wealth. But I shall grant gifts to all who have been fortunate to be in my presence this past few years. I’m feeling generous so I will give presents to my friends who I may not see as often now that we have left school so they can enjoy for their rest of their existence.

Emma:

Today, Emma Thelma Louise Hanna, you have been given the gift of a massive castle where you can live happily with all your medieval stuff you are interested in. Knights, horses, wizards..merlin.. etc. Yes, since you’ve been my friend longest you get the biggest present!

I do not understand all this medieval nonsense so I will give you the opportunity for you to refurbish this grand castle in any way you wish. You do not have to work, because you have worked enough for 4 A-Levels which accounts for enough work for the rest of your life. You don’t have to do anything at all, and that suits you. There is a horse and carriage which Caspian drives about the large pollen-free land around your castle to prevent hay fever. You have a large library stored with your published fanfiction and every book you have ever read.

You also have slaves: one from each country of the world: which you can speak to in their own language. In the dungeon there are many Korean boys that are trapped there because that’s what you keep them after capturing them during hunting. Occasionally you throw some leftover rice down there to ‘keep them going’ but there isn’t really any need for feeding them or holding them under capture either! But you do because they are so pretty. And sometimes they teach you dance.

Lastly, you get one more present: a big grade C. You’ve never had a C before so now this has tainted the perfect A’s you have received. (C is for CLAUDIA. So that makes it good.)

(Sorry that was much longer than I thought it would be... got carried away when I got into the dungeon bit.)

Amy

Amy Grace, I will give you the gift of nothing other than, a car! It doesn’t seem fair that you work so hard and you are not rewarded! In this car is a big Scottish man with a beard and an accent. You’ve always said you wanted one of them. (Sorry I’ve got the K-Pop Cd jammed in the player...with glue.) I’ve also went to the trouble of moving Dundee to the coast of Annalong. Now you don’t have to travel too far but you will still be in Dundee, except just not in Scotland!

May-Jay

Lady MaryJazzleyJane, today you receive the gift of usefulness. Throughout all my years knowing you, I’ve never seen you do anything worthwhile. Well, apart for your skills in the use of graphic design. I shall give you a beautiful solid gold graphics tablet which you must use everyday, or it will disappear in a puff of smoke and you won’t get it back again.

You also do not have a car of your own, so I will buy you this straight from Japan. I can imagine you driving round this already. You would look so cool. Inside this car is nobody else but Adam Young!! Cos you like that guy.

I saw during the art exam your Skull Candy earphones didn’t really fit you right, so I’ll get you these to match your car!

Elizabeth

Elizabeth, today you receive the gift of a beautiful white cloak! This cloak has a hood and little holes for ey...wait..you already have one of these? Why...?

Naomi

Naomi dearest, I understand you are a bit uptight about next year and what you are going to be doing. Today I give you the present of not being worrisome. I can see you will do better than all our friend group put together: better than Kerri in Law, better than James in mirotics or whatever it is... Yes you will! I give you a ticket for a trip around the world which would be so much more fun than university. You can meet Kellen Lutz and lots more hunky men. I will also give you a recycling center that only recycle Ribena, Barney and Plein Sud drink cartons and you can rip away at the cardboard too. You’ll have a blast!

Kerri

Kurry, today I grant that the act of polygamy is now legal in Northern Ireland. You are scheduled to play Adrianna’s half sister in next month’s 90210. I also have got in contact with Derren Brown who has predicted this week’s lotto numbers so you should be safe with that one too. When your winnings are confirmed, I will call Camelot to send your winnings in cash in several Louis Vuitton suitcases. Lastly, I will fly big smoker face Gaspard over and you can play to him with your big ass golden cello.

James

Sir James, yes, that’s right, I just called up the Queen to knight you. Congratulations Sir James Mooney! You wonder why you are knighted? Why it’s because of your globally famous retail store, Half Moon! Your invention of ‘Moon’ sizes has revolutionised the fashion world completely and the whole world is going hay-wire for this new style (including Glee characters Kurt, Mike Chang and Blain mmmm Blaine) All thanks to me! I told you the Dump would be the perfect place to set up a business, and you didn’t believe me! Plus, hiring out Gaga to model was a gold idea!

Jordan

Jordon, today you receive the gift Mothman visiting for tea! Hey, don’t be insulted, that’s like the best gift ever. Lol clearly I started this post with great ideas for some people and by the end I had ran out of ideas. Sowee....Oh: better idea. Jordan, comment exactly what you want me to do for my next post in the comment box and I’ll write all about it. Need to keep blogging interesting. Anything at all! I accept the challenge. Even if it’s something gay that I don’t like, maths or whatever.

(Same goes to Elizabeth, she didn’t even get a gift. Ya’big racist.)

Can't wait for tomorrow night!!!!

O IS FOR...

Obsessions

“We’ve all got obsessions...”

These are my brain's memories:

Today I am going to list all the past and present obsessions I remember having. Some of these were quite severe..some only lasted a week..some a lot longer. But yeah, I was/am an extremely obsessive person and I can’t help it. It is a habit that totally consumes my mind. Here is the list I've gathered:

Recess

Andy Warhol Art

Audrey Hepburn

Harry Potter

The Emperor’s New Groove

Jonas Brothers

Super Junior

Sabrina the Teenage Witch

Watching the Indian channel on Sky

Alexander Rybak

Glee

West Highland White Terriers

Johnny Depp

Muse

Japanese style/people

Mario Kart

Civilisation Revolution

My Chemical Romance - Gerard and Mickey Way
Paramore
Boys in skinny jeans. (Haha ewwww)

Never Mind the Buzzcocks

Lady Gaga

Charlie McDonnell

Noel Fielding

Glee

2NE1

The Beatles

IRIS

T.O.P from Big Bang

Oh, and K-Pop/Korea... I suppose!

Listing some of these makes me cringe. A lot. They are certainly not in order by the way. There are probably so so many more, but I dread to search deeper into my mind to find them.

Formal/Dinner Dance tomorrow. I have officially left school. Boo. ;[

N is for...

Just to prove Mary-Jane wrong, I’m going to start up the Alphabet Meme again after I had rudely dropped it at the end of December last year. (Two days before Christmas, actually.)

I actually got completely stuck on thinking of words for some letters, but tonight I’m feeling determined to post more on it, just to show I can.

I’ve been only posting once a week because I’m totally bunged down with work, mostly coursework and revision, so blogging has been the last thing on my mind. However I’ll try my best to when I can.

Okay, today’s letter is the LETTER N!

And it’s definition today is “Names!”

I always swore I would never reveal my baby names because I live in fear that someone would have a child before me and steal it, but today I am not revealing my own personal baby names, just names I rather like.

There’s really not much else explaining to do here, so here is the list I have gathered.

Boys Names

Henry

Charles

Noah

Jacob

Harry

Liam

Elijah

Isaac

George

Joel

Nicholas

Alexander

Harrison

Girls Names

Alexandria

Francesca

Amelia

Isabella

Felicity

Sophia

Georgiana

Stella

Arabella

Florence

Ophelia

Oh no! I’m running out of battery on Maccy. I should probably go to bed anyway.

Most of the girls' names are ending with A. That's not intentional.

Perhaps I will add more tomorrow. It’s much more difficult to think of names sitting here. I bet I’ll think of loads more after I post this...

Bon nuit.

M is for...

Mentor

I originally had this as music, but you all know what my music taste is, so I found something better.

So I have some GREAT news! If you didn’t hear via Facebook, I got a letter from University of Ulster yesterday! I was actually out at the time, but Mum phoned me asking permission to open it (basically) but I think she had already. Besides the point, I was invited for an interview for DESIGN FOR VISUAL COMMUNICATION!

Yes, the course. THEE course! Not even the foundation year, THE COURSE. The course I’ve been blogging about, and losing sleep thinking about. I feel like I’ve been proposed to. Don’t actually think it’s sunk in properly yet, but I woke up today with a smile on my face, excited to do some ART.

I have like triple the work to do now, because the interviewers will be looking for work that has a foundation year behind them, something I don’t have. After looking at the site, they do accept people from all levels. Wow, I’m so happy.

The first person I told was Patricia. Over the summer, I wrote a letter to Trish on this blog, just because she is so amazing. To fill you all in, Patricia is a friend of my Uncle Gordon who is an artist who now lives in Australia. She also went to Art College and got the highest grade in her year. Lately I’ve been in contact with her via FB, asking her advice about interviews and portfolio work.

She’s helped me out so much. Like, I didn’t realise the immense amount of work that needs to be done. (Example: 10-15 A6 books, 10-15 A4 books and an A1 portfolio with boarded work) She has so much faith in me, constantly repeating “You are going to art college!” I would have given up by now if it wasn’t for her. She even contacted her old art friends and tutors asking for even more information for me. It’s given me the kick I need to work really really hard.

So yeah, Patricia is like my mentor for the next few months. Just one that lives across the globe, able to basically do what she wants. (In some ways, she lives the life I dream to have!) She is my Cheryl, and I am her Cher. She is my Usher, and I am her Justin.

If I don’t get in with all this work, I’ll just accept it, and hope God has something better in store. I wonder will I get a Foundation Course letter too?

I’m going to lock myself in the house for the next few months, until February at least.

If I don’t blog tomorrow or the 25th, I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas from Claud's blog! :)

L IS FOR...

Lowbrows

This post has a ridiculous definition because I thought I could write about one’s guilty pleasures but, alas, I’ve already used the letter G for games. Lowbrow basically means the same thing. A guilty pleasure is an aspect of our lives in which we find a certain amount of joy or comfort, but that we don't want to brag about for fear of what others might think of us, in terms of refinement of taste and basic values.

Today, I’m going to reveal my guilty pleasures!

Digestive Biscuits

Right, I’m just going to start right in, these are in the order that I think of them. I love McVities digestive biscuits. I could eat a whole pack of these in one sitting. Best way to eat them is dipped in tea or made into sandwiches with butter. I would choose these over chocolate. Maryland cookies are pretty high up the biscuit list too.

Eurovision

One of my favourite T.V events every year is the singing competition, Eurovision. I refused to leave the house or go out on Eurovision night because I look forward to it so much. I sit by myself in the sitting room and watch the whole show in one sitting.

To make things worse, I have pen and paper and list the countries, and mark the performance out of 10, as well as a comment or a note to remind me of the act. I then am able to shout and complain if an act I don’t like are given the 10 points. Shame!!

Grocery Shopping

A highlight of my week is going to Asda with Mum to get the weekly groceries. I haven’t figured out why I enjoy this so much. The best bit is getting home and putting everything we bought away in the cupboard. Some kind of satisfaction.

Disney T.V Shows

I don’t think I’m alone in this one. Wizards of Waverly Palace. The Suite Life of Zac and Cody. Hannah Montana. That’s So Raven. Recess. I watch these after school like the little kid I am.

Microwavable Dinners

I eat these. Not all the time. But I do. Guilty.

Asians

Goes without saying.

Good teeth

I have a fascination with people who have amazingly good teeth. I could look at them all day. I guess I’m just jealous.

Baby names

Like many girls do, (be afraid boys!), have a list of baby names to call their future children. My guilty pleasure is looking at baby name sites and listing my favourite ones. I never tell anyone of these names because I’m afraid someone will have a child before I do and steal it!

Beans on toast

Like biscuits, I love beans on toast. It’s one of my favourite meals. I especially like it on Saturdays at 1pm. I think I will have it today.

Awards shows

You thought the Eurovision was bad? I do the same for awards shows, wether it being MTV or Oscars, I watch them all.

Fangirling

I am female and a teenager, which makes me eligible to fangirl. As you would expect, I am single.

Xbox

I also love playing our Xbox 360. I’m not very good at it, but I play fun games like Lego Harry Potter and Civilization. I love conquering countries.

Women dressing as men/Men dressing as women

I saw an article in the Daily Mail yesterday with women dressed as men, like Angelina Jolie in SALT. There were others too, but I can’t remember anymore. A while ago, Lady Gaga dressed like man for a photo shoot. Korean idols disguise themselves girls all the time. (Idek why DO they do that?!)

Yeah, I can see why people think it’s really gross and totally wrong, yet, I think they look REALLY good! My guilty pleasure. I love it.

Getting post

Everyday at 4pm, I check the letterbox to see if I’ve got any post. I often would subscribe or not tick the box on forms so I can receive stuff, even if it’s complete rubbish. I just love getting post.

Take Me Out

Hands up if you watch Saturday Night T.V! Yes, I am a fan of ITV 1’s Take Me Out. Where about 20 ditzy slappers in mini-skirts stand behind light-up buzzers and decide if the single guy is worth fighting over to get a date. This poor guy, usually a footballer, appears from a platform coming down, so it’s really intense because everyone is hoping for a real “fitty.” When Paddy McGuinness says, “No likey, no lighty!” If the slags aren’t interested in the guy, they put their light on their buzzer out. Their lines are so corny too, with a slight sexual innuendo stuck in somewhere. The whole thing would make you shake your head slowly in shame, but you can’t take your eyes of it. It’s on tonight at 8pm, so don’t miss it!

Talking to guys just for the sake of it

In numerous occasions when I’m out, I would try to talk to sales person as much as possible. But only if they are a guy. Doesn’t matter if they are young or old, straight or gay, I just love talking to people working. One time, a guy in Schuh came over to me and asked where did I get my glasses, it made my whole day!

Making lists

This is the way I live. I could not survive without my to-do list on my phone. I then make the list into a schedule for the next coming week, and if something gets in the way or faults my running of my schedule, there will be blood.

Glasses

I am going to end this embarrassing list with my secret love for people wearing glasses. Although I hate wearing my own, when I see a guy wearing glasses, I go weak in the knees. Nothing could be more sexy than that. However, they MUST be real! No false/fashion specs going on, I don’t understand why people do that! Some boys just look amazing wearing them: wether looking intelligent or super geeky, I love it!

Okay, I’m done. Try not to think any less of me after that!

What’s your guilty pleasure?

K is for...

Korea
Lately, Korea has unfortunately been in the news for all the wrong reasons. With North Korea threatening the South with nuclear attacks are sending the world into panic about a possible World War 3, which is crazy and terrifying too!
If you all know me well enough, I’ve had an interest in S. Korea for the past year now. No particular reason, I just find the country and it’s culture interesting. It’s a rather unusual interest to have I know, but being me, I don’t actually care what other people say because I like being different.

What I actually intended for this post was just to list my favourite idols, haha fail. It's good to be a teenager! See if I was any older I couldn't get away with this idiocy because that would make me a freaky old lady who likes chinky boys. (technically, they are Korean, which makes them kinky...baha thanks tumblr for that one) teehee. LOL CRINGE.

Okay, I think this is a very rough order? Well, I'm certain T.O.P is number one in my favourites. Dayum he's just so sexy! Such a big pimp, actually. He makes great music too. I love Big Bang!

Eunhyuk is my bias in Suju: Not because of his looks (because, let's be honest, he looks like a human monkey) but he's absolutely hilarious and adorable.

I just placed these three together: all are other members of Suju too, but are totally different.
Siwon is so perfect: Christian guy, muscles carved by angels, kindhearted and so generous: he's the kind of man a mother would want as a son-in-law.

Henry Lau is a cutie: he's got such chubby cheeks! Moochi Moochi! And he plays the violin, so awesome.

Heechul, where do you start?! Okay, look at it this way; if you know me well enough, compare him to me. Temperamental. Brutally honest. Very vain. And there you go, that's Kim Heechul.

Minho Choi, isn't he just adorable? My favourite member of SHINee. He's so tall! Grow your hair back Minho, you suited it longer m'boy!

Daesung is another guy from Big Bang: he's so always so positive and happy!

Yoochun!! I have no reason at all why I love this guy, but he's my favourite from Dong Bang Shin Ki.
(Damn! Just noticed I wrote Mickey Yoochun, his name is Micky!! Aragh!!)

James once compared Jaejoong to Gok Wan on Facebook. Actually, according to statistics, he's won best looking guy in Asia like three times in a row. I think he's alright, but I much prefer T.O.P.

So yeah, that's it. I'm sorry if that was painful for you to read. Making the pictures were so much more fun than writing this post.
JUST KIDDING IT TOOK ME FOREVER TO PUT THIS POST TOGETHER YOU BETTER HAVE ENJOYED IT.

Mum: Claudia, I'm putting a stop to this korean nonsense, it's getting ridiculous now. I just can't listen to it anymore.

J IS FOR...

James

Today, J can be for James. I do believe James Mooney has mucked up our blogging community forever. Many thanks to his deceptive, controversial and scandalous letters that have been posted the past 24 hours. These letters are driving everyone insane!

Of course, we all do enjoy a wee anonymous letter now and then, they make us laugh, and we are curious to who it could be, often we can guess. But fantastic Mr Moon has excelled himself in this, writing the most secret letters known to man.

No, I’m not even being over-dramatic. It’s like cracking the Da Vinci Code. They might as well be in Latin. After showing them to a few people they began squirming and screaming because they were so desperate to know who these anonymous people are!

Everybody in school today was whispering “Who’s number 2??” and “Who’s number 6??” and so on. It’s like the new thing to gossip about. I do believe some were going to explode because they couldn’t work it out.

I enjoyed discussing this, but I’m not going to make it my life’s mission to find out who they are. It has certainly made school and blogger much more interesting lately. Let’s just see what happens.

Keep er lit James.

- Claudia

Sorry, Jordan, just realised J was meant to be for you, I'll make it up to you.

Irregular Choice

Posts have been a bit delayed lately. I would lie and say I have been busy. But the actual fact is that I just couldn’t be BOTHERED to write this post. Everything lately seems like effort: when is it Christmas??

Okay, above is a picture of my shoe cupboard, where my Irregular Choice live like Kings and Queens on their beautiful shoebox. I love these shoes so much because they are all so unique. And each collection is so fresh, they never get boring. Lately, they have been selling them in DV8, so I make a point to not buy them from there because I think I would die inside if someone I knew owned the same as me. They are getting very popular, so I dread that because I like being different. I don’t think that will happen though because they are far too expensive!

And no, don’t say something like “haw claudia but your rich, you could buy them shoes no problem” C’mon, don’t you all realise?! I am a bargain hunter!! I would do anything for a freebie or getting something that’s good quality dirt cheap.

The only full-price pair of shoes I own are the Purple Cat Boots, but that was a present for passing my exams.

Although they aren’t all there in that photo, I have 8 pairs of these shoes. I started my collection in 2008. I bought my first pair in March/April when I was down in Derry over Easter visiting my cousin Gregor, back then they were uncommon. These don’t fit me as well as they use to, but occasionally I would squeeze my feet in for the craic. The next pair I got was for my 16th birthday. What attracted me to these bad boys was the really random heel on them.

Fabbydo: I got Fabbydos for London. These are very very comfy because of the big wedge heel and straps. Alas, they match very little outfits in my wardrobe.

Oz Bow Glitter Court: These Green Tinsil Shoes are an absolute scandal! When I was out shopping in Belfast, there was a shop (DV8 actually, lol) doing a massive clearout. And behold! They were selling these for £20! What made this such a scandal was THEY ARE NEW STOCK. They are still selling them in other stores, such as Schuh for like £80. I’m planning on wearing them all Christmas, they are so festive!

Leather Cat Heeled Ankle Boots, Purple Lavendar: (A.K.A: Cat Boots) J’ADORE LE BOOTS OF CHAT. They are not in the photo because they were getting reheeled at the time. Purple is my favourite colour, and these boots are so comfortable to wear.

Julie Who: Just another pair, don’t wear theses as often I used to, because they can be a bit slippy and are a bit scuffed now on the small heel. And what the flip model, they don't look nice with black tights!! >.<

Branded as my Elf Shoes, I got that pair yonks ago for £11. I don’t even know the name of it, it didn’t come with a box. Everybody hates them, which makes me wear them all the more. I can't even find a photo for them.

The other ones, I hardly wear these. The checkered ones in the picture I mean. Mum got me them, but they are still too big! :-/

I also have an Irregular Choice handbag, which I purchased in London.
And Henry’s Laptop Bag, the one with the creepy doll. (Pom Pom Chick)

I was going to conclude with a wish list of other Irregular Choice items. But who am I kidding? I I could, I would take every Irregular Choice item on the planet!

Heroines

So this post is going to be about women, who inspire me in one way or another. Enjoy.

Jaamela Jamil

I see this woman in Look Magazine all the time, and not only do I applaud her for her amazing fashion sense, she’s absolutely stunning! If I was a size 6/8 I would LOVE to look like her- her eyes are so beautiful! *Aims to look as pretty as her*

Selena Gormez

For some reason. I adore this girl. I’ve watched her on “Wizards of Waverly Place’ (yeah, I know) a few times and think she’s as cool as a cucumber. Her bold and brash nature is brilliant in that show, she is a talented actress. And she’s dated Taylor Lautner, lucky girl!

Lady Gaga

Honestly, where do I start? Probably the most amazing woman in the world, no, the universe!

Not only an inspiration to me to be individual, but so many others too. It’s difficult to describe how great she actually is because she’s too amazing to describe.

Her style: Unreal. Seriously. Despite having a figure to die for, Gaga goes beyond all limits in the fashion world. She wears outfits that other normal pop stars wouldn’t dare to wear, and that originality is copied by fans all over the globe.

It’s said that she’ll be remembered for her fashion more than her music: this I don’t totally agree on because they are both equally phenomenal.

And the best bit is she IS talented, no matter what critics or haters say. Trust me, I saw her live, she is an ARTIST.

Love her or hate her, this lady is going to be around for a very long time.

Audrey Hepburn

The most beautiful lady ever. ever EVER. This awe I’m feeling over my heroines is very difficult to explain! I think Audrey is the definition of a perfect woman: she’s beautiful, cultured, elegant and ever so stylish. Through her life these qualities never faded, they matured with age. Audrey showed the world that you can still be perfect and work hard.

And even though she’s not with us, she’s still in our hearts today.

Paloma Faith

I more than likely have never announced this to anyone before, but I really like the singer Palmona Faith. Her style is so quirky and her voice is stunning.

Emma Watson

If you have been living in a bucket this last nine years, Emma Watson is the girl who plays Hermione in the Harry Potter films. Only after recently rewatching the films did I realise how amazing this girl can act. Lately she’s been in the papers publicizing Deathly Hallows (Which I still haven’t seen, drat) sporting a new hair-do. My own opinion: I usually loathe boy cuts on girls, but Emma Watson can work it! She looks even more glamourous than before. Miss Watson is on this list for being a super role-model and fashionista for ladies everywhere in 2010.

Sunny from SNSD

No idea why, but Sunny is my favourite in Girls Generation. She’s looked at as one of the least pretty members so I look up to her for ignoring all the haters. She’s so cute and naturally looks adorable. If I looked Asian, I’d so want to look like her!

Hacker Girl

Oh my goodness, where do I start! Well firstly, Yang Mi Jung is a character in my Korean Drama IRIS, which I have spoke about before, so I won’t bore you to tears again about it. We affectionately called her Hacker Girl, because she is a wizz-kid at hacking into CCTVs, programs...basically anything and everything. So that skill amazes me, because she’s so intelligent and is a master of computing- something I’ve always wished I could do!

In the show, she’s so funny. She’s got brilliant lines and her and 70s Guy (Hyang Tae Sung: he looks like he’s been imported from the 70s) made a superb team at the NSS!

Hacker Girl’s style is amazing! She wears the rarest clothes! Which I love because she’s being so unique. She’s very distinct looking but so gorgeous.

And then, she gets better still. She dates T.O.P (Assassin Vick). It’s only later in the episodes do we begin to see their relationship. It’s so sweet: she’s completely fallen for him! I don’t want to give too much away, because Emma’s likely to read this and she still has to watch it...

Marlene Freimanis

I have used Marlene four times as my artist in my school artwork. Honestly, she is the best artist I have ever come across, and she isn’t even that well known. I found her on DeviantArt, where she is active at posting her pieces for seven years now. She’s a bit like myself: she goes through obsessions focusing on different things, but unlike me, posts AMAZING pieces of art relating to it. She is interested in macabre, zombies and gory, gothic things, as well as a fanatic Gaga monster. Lately she’s been into Florence and the Machine (No way as good as Gaga, I gotta admit) When I get my own house, I want to order a print of hers to hang up on my wall.

If I had 100th of her skill I would be delighted.

Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks is known for playing a part in a show called Mad Men: I’ve never watched it, but you see this lady all the time in the newspaper and magazines.

She’s been in the media so often because of her incredible curves and bust size. This year she’s been voted Sexiest Woman Alive.

I love this woman because even she, like myself, is a size 14, and struggles to find designer clothes that fit that body shape properly. She won’t alter her size for designer clothes or conform to other Hollywood size 0 bodies either. People online have sneered and criticised her for not doing this.

Well girl, you’re a true beauty, so don’t worry what they say!

Yay that was a fun post.

G is for...

Games

So in this entry, I will list a few of my favourite video games. I’m not a professional gamer, neither do I have the time to play games very often so don't laugh.

The Sims 2 (Playstation 2)

I was first introduced into the world of Sims when I bought the first ‘The Sims’ game for Playstation 2 seven years ago. Building and furbishing a house and creating mini versions of myself and friends to live in there left me completely hooked. It got better when they made The Sims 2: you could then let your Sims walk about. I would still take notions and play it sometimes.

Unfortunately I haven’t had the privilege to play Sims 3, I was a little put off when it didn’t arrive on the Playstation. Can’t say I’m a fan of computer games either: and getting games Mac compatible can be a right pain. Unless it’s Petz 4. I LOVED Pets 4 for Windows.

Mario Kart Wii (Nintendo Wii)

Going to do a Kanye here. The best game of all time. ALL TIME. In my eyes, Mario Kart rules over every game that has ever been created for any console ever.

I bought this like 3 years ago and still play it least once a month. I love how it properly is able to go online and is actually fun when you do. Also it doesn’t matter what time of day you log on at, there are always others in the racing area playing too.

It’s the only game I am able to get competitive in. In everything else I’m just like “Meh it’s just a game, I don’t care enough” But MARIO KART, when I play, if I don’t place in a race things get very serious. It’s like men and football, shouting/swearing at the t.v, that kinda thing.

Lego Harry Potter (Xbox)

Even though I’m really poor at this game I secretly love it. I always need Jared’s help, who seems to be a game expert. It’s so simple and fun. The little characters are hilarious, especially in this Harry Potter version, because we know the characters so well from the books and films. Lego games are the best!

Sid Meyer’s Civilization Revolution (Xbox)

If you monitor my MSN/X-boxing time, you may have observed in the months of G.C.S.E study leave I was completely hooked on this game. If you haven’t heard of it, I’ll tell you. It’s like your the King/Emperor of a country of your choice, and you fight and trade to take over other countries. It sounds super dorky but really challenging. The power really goes to your head, it’s like the aim is world domination! Alas, I have only completed the Chieftain level, someday I’ll attempt to become a Warlord. (See, I’m completely hopeless!)

Wii Fit (Wii)

Since quitting Slimming World (Did I tell you’s that?) I have been monitoring my weight weekly on the Wii Fit. It’s a cheaper alternative compared to paying £5 to say you have put a pound on. So far, so good. I just need to lose 4lb for Christmas. "Don't hold your breath, it will raise your blood pressure!"

F is for...

Friends

Being human, I do have friends, even if I don’t blog about them much.

Not in order:

Kerri Nicholson- People describe her as the cool one but I know her well enough to know otherwise, jk jk :) Kerri is awesome: she always has great ideas for things which makes her a fantastic Head Girl. Outside school she’s so much fun: wee days out to Belfast are mighty craic, even going to Newcastle Mauds for some banter is brilliant. We share some really random interests too- who else would put up with a friend who likes Suju and the JoBros?

Amy McKee- The crazy one- Amy is strong-willed..and full of spirit! She’s the one that speaks truthfully when others wouldn’t dare, even if it could get her in trouble or if no one else agrees! She’s hilarious too, her ‘rants’ about her family or R.E make me laugh so much. We never agree on anything though, but for some reason it works for us being friends. We have just one thing in common: We both love Shannon!

Jordan Minnis- Jordan is the loud one because she never stops shouting! She’s really cool though, really great at working with the younger ones through S.U and stuff. She is great craic too: she knows how to start up a conversation. We’ve had great memories on msn! Giant calculators, sunglasses at night, the golden compass and of course, NANCY! (R.I.P)

Sarah Bolton- the more unusual one, who often hangs about with the boys! Sarah is class- she’s so sweet and we have had great memories. “Hi, I’m Claudia” “and I’m Sarah.” Both: “and we’re..your STALKERS.”

Naomi Stevenson- the quiet one. Naomi is my art buddy! I like her taste in music but not in men, we discovered during the art trip. We ♥ art.

James Mooney- The only guy? Yeah James is so cool, we both love Glee! He’s one of them people that you don’t know what way to take at the start until you get used to them, then you realise how hilarious they are. We only became friends over the summer, when he somehow managed to visit my house with Amy more than anyone, we sat and drunk tea and ate delicious cookies! Viva la moth!

Elizabeth Morris- Ah Elizabeth! So gentle, so kind, so organised! Elizabeth is one of the most sweetest people I have ever met: she doesn’t get angry or annoyed even in the worst situations. She’s recently starting to use Facebook: I don’t know if you’ll ever read this Lizzie, but we all love you!

Mary-Jane McBride- MJ/Mayjay can be summed up in few words: Pokemon and Anime. I think I’m attracted to unusual people because Mary-Jane is definitely one of them. Not in a bad way though! She makes me laugh a lot, and we get along very well: even if it looks like we constantly are insulting each other!

Alison Foster- You know how there are certain people you just love? Alison is one of them for me. Not only is she hilarious, everything about her makes me laugh: I must admit I feel quite annoyed somedays if she doesn’t come in! She makes my whole morning. But not only that, she’s really understanding too. I’m so glad she moved to our school, because I’m proud to call her my friend!

Rachel Haugh- Ah! Rachel has been my friend for such a long time! One of my remaining Primary School friends. Rach is so laid back, I could shake her sometimes: but it’s probably a good thing because she keeps me from losing my cool. She just accepts things and it’s so easy to talk to her. And I get to hear all the craic on the bus and in I.C.T. Bus buddies forever!

Noelle Gordon- Good owl’ Noelle. I don’t think a lot of people really understand her, but I really do like Noelle! She’s so chatty and so nice to me, ever since we sat beside each other in French in 4th year. We’ve never fallen out either, I hope we can be friends for a long time.

No doubt about it, all these guys would be at my 18th if I plan to have one.

Thank you for being my friends!! :) x
