meme blah 2011 vs 2015

For the first time in a very long time, I feel like writing something. The last time I used this post template was on 7th October 2011. Shall we see has anything changed in 4 years?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I thought: "Mainly my thoughts consist of things to do, k-pop and blogging ideas. And if not that it would be repetitive song lyrics in my head."
I think: I'm always thinking of what to do next, I'm probably busier. Less K-Pop and blogging ideas though.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I knew: "I need to work extremely hard for my course this year. So much to do but I’M VERY EXCITED! :D"
I know: I STILL need to work hard for my course, my Masters this time. A dissertation and practical project to complete. No longer excited.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I wanted: "clothes, shoes and perhaps a new handbag. Oh, and a pair of Dr Dre Solo HDs - top of my Christmas list right now. And money. And everything."
I want: Pass my Masters successfully, and get a job by Christmas!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I had: "16 autographs now! When I receive more I hope to make a fabulous blog post about it. Mum also told me there are three at home that I still need to open. I’m excited."
I have: About 24 autographs altogether I think! Unfortunately I don't collect them anymore.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I wished: "I had whiter teeth and a better figure."
I wish: My teeth would be permanently white but become less sensitive.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hated: "rude people and poor manners."
I hate: SAME.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I missed: "Jordan, but that’s understandable. I’d rather not blog about this for a while to be honest."
I miss: The old days at school and in university.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I feared: "landing in some serious debt in the future."
I fear: Not having money at all, never mind getting in debt.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I felt: "awesome most of the time. Unless I’m being quiet, that’s when you should not attempt to speak to me."
I feelEmbarrassed I wrote the above statement.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I heard: music blaring from my iTunes. Did you know only 31% of my iTunes library is k-pop? Yes, it surprised me too.
I hear: Josh Groban playing from Spotify. Did you know only 4% of my Spotify playlist is K-pop? Doesn't surprise me at all.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I smelt: "of “Sex and the City: KISS” which I claimed for free on my O2 surprises."
I smell: of LOLA by Mark Jacobs - my favourite perfume.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I craved: "biscuits and cereal. I swear I’ve never ate so much junk in my life since I’ve arrived here. :( Cry."
I crave: TEAAA.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I searched: "korean guys on google images."
I search: academic citations. :/
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I wondered: "why I wasn’t able to tell Key and Onew from SHINee apart when I was learning their names??"
I wonder: why I cared so much? Haha
------------------------------------------------------------------------
regretted: "not speaking to that cute guy I saw in uni when he smiled at me. Alas, I ran away because I am shy."
I regret: Being shy for so long.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I loved: "random things, like high resolution photographs and videos, getting post and unusual jewellery."
I love: God, my family and friends, nail art and getting post.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I cared: "for Jared. Hurt him and I’ll knock your brain out."
I care: FOR JARED. HURT HIM AND I'LL KNOCK YOUR BRAINS OUT x 100.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I always: "colour-coordinate my jewellery to match my outfits."
I always: Apply lipstick.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was not: "as intimidating as people seem to think? I am a dead on person, really. Maybe just a bit mad. Don’t judge on first impressions!"
I am not: as angry and intimidating as I once was. Emma once told me I have mellowed so let's go with that.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I believed: "in God. Although I don’t appear to talk about my faith in my posts, I firmly believe in God."
I believe: in God.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I danced: "no I don’t."
I dance: Rarely.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I sung: "along to k-pop songs. When you listen to it often enough you can sing along. They have lots of English lines too which makes it easier."
I sing: I'd say my music taste has fluctuated a lot over the years - I'd listen to pretty much anything nowadays.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

I cried: "at films. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 2 I cried the whole way through - my childhood ended then."
I cry: T.V can be quite emotional - I get upset watching documentaries sometimes.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I fought: "with Jared. But Jared punches like Bruce Lee and leaves me rolling on the floor in pain. (I am surprisingly weak though.)"
I fight: Honestly I never fight. I learnt from previous battles.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I wrote: "blog posts once a week."
I write: in my diary.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I won: "at racing games. Irony because I hate driving in real life."
I win: ????
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I lost: "nothing. But when I do I get veryyyy annoyed. When packing for uni, I lost my bullet earrings... the one’s I ordered online which T.O.P also has. I was wearing them the day before and they were dropped into somewhere safe the day before. I just don’t remember where. :("
I lose: nothing! Also, I found those earrings in my glasses case a few days after I made that post. I still have them.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I never: "tell lies. I’m very bad at it and someone always catches me out or I burst out laughing."
I never: want to grow any older than the age I am now.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I confused: "myself easily over simple situations or information. I tend to hear something and look at it at a completely different perspective. Emma, James and my mother understand what I mean. “...Beauticians?”"
I confuse: some things never change...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I listened: "TO MISTER SIMPUL. Oh it’s just ended."
I listen: Josh Groban's Anthem - the most glorious sound known to man.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I could usually be found: "in my room online or eating and watching T.V. Or boiling the kettle. Or on the trampoline."
I can usually be found: In my wee office working and drinking green tea.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was scared: "of daddy long legs - the giant, dancing, flying spider."
I am scared: of humankind, spiders and my Macbook breaking with all my work on it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
i needed: "a nice cup of tea and another episode of Doctor Who."
I need: a lot more sleep than what I used to...zzz...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was happy about: "that Big Bang is first in voting for the MTV EMA Worldwide Act Asia Pacific award! Hooray!!"
I am happy about: so many things! A loving home. Fantastic group of friends. Things going well in general.

ONE/ONE/ONEONE

First things first, Happy New Year everyone! Did you do anything fun? I hosted a container party: basically an evening for us girlies to chat about anything and everything til all hours in the morning. We excelled ourselves this time, with Jordan, Emma and Amy staying til 4am. It was a brilliant night. I’m very tired today though. And we are back to school on Tuesday, where did the time go?

I haven’t made any proper New Years Resolutions, but here is a list of what I plan to do:

o Exercise 3 days a week for 30 mins.

o Reach target before 18th Birthday (6th February) and second target by formal date (? May)

But both are the last thing on my mind right now, I’ve so much to do I think I’ll explode. I hate this! Sometimes I want to clone myself, so one could do my final piece, then another could revise for English, and another could work on portfolio work.. etc. Then we can unite and behold, I’ve done everything. With no stress at all.

I don’t think 2011 is going to be as good as 2010 anyway. It doesn’t even have a nice ring to it, it’s odd. Before you could sing twothousandandten, or TWO OH ONE OH (I like that one, it’s in a song I like) now it’s just a big fail, twothousandandellleeevveen or worse TWO OH ONE ELEVEN. No way man, this year is just going to be stupid.

Well I say that, and it might be amazing. I tend not to look forward to things incase I’m let down, and last year I made a point of not being excited about anything coming up (well most things, minis London, it lived up to my expectations) because I’m usually disappointed.

I’m going to bring it up again, I still don’t know what my 18th ‘Surprise’ is...yet. Mum scribbled it out of her diary because she knew I was going to look! I do ponder what it could be.. it’s driving me insane.

And then she asked me what I wanted gift-wise, so I was like :D

I’ll end with this, should I rename my blog?? My blog title is so last year. Now I would like to give the Claudblog a revamp.. Let me know.

PIN UP BOYS

Hey guys what’s up. I forgot to tell you one of the best gifts I got this year. Jared and I exchanged presents this year on Christmas Eve. He promised me to make something hand-made but I don’t think he realised the amount of work that goes into such a thing, but he requested a list of my 12 favourite Asian guys.
I instantly knew what he was making, a calendar: a guy for each month. Then he announced it was in fact, not a calendar and then asked for another 12 guys. And I promptly gave him it, and constantly nagged at him to keep working on the project, because he wouldn’t finish it if I didn’t, (and I was dying to know what it was!) I eventually realised he was making a booklet. Not from being nosy, he was just being very obvious about the whole operation!

I do believe he saw that I found it so easy and satisfying to make such things using the computer, he could do the same. But he kept running into problems but couldn’t ask for help for me because he wanted it to remain a surprise.

Fast forward to Christmas Eve, and behold was this surprise neatly wrapped under the tree. I must admit, I was very impressed when I opened it, because Jared’s usually very lazy and gives up on everything. He did make me a calendar after all, and it was absolutely beautiful. Of course I loved it. Personalised gifts are lovely because they are unique and made specially for you. This was the most personalised thing for me possible, so I was super excited about it.

Jared swore he would never do something like it again though, because he just found it too stressful. lawl.
If you were wondering, I ordered him a Laptatt for the return gift. double lawl.

In today’s wonderful post, I took photos of each page of Jared’s Calendar, and wrote a summary of what I predict will happen in the year 2011. Enjoy.

January

Okay here goes, I know for a fact in January there will be the New Year, Cafe 180 and disastrously, my AS English Resit. Which I still am not prepared for. Hmm. In January I also hope to get back into the swing of driving, which I have currently abandoned due to school work and the ‘bad snow.’ I like how Jared started the year with my all time favourite T.O.P (and yeah, I already have the calendar hung up in my room for the new year, I’m just so organised)

February

Hoorah! It is finally my 18th birthday month. Not that being 18 really means much to me, I guess it will come in handy if need ID for DVDs or games or whatever. I also will get to find out the surprise Dad is arranging. (I’m honestly scared to think what it could be) Mum told me she wrote it in her planner so she warned me not to look, but c’mon, that’s not gonna last. I kinda hoped I would have my driving test by my 18th but I hardly care now. This will also be the month of the BIG INTERVIEW!! So I pray that by then I will be all sorted for it. By the way, I’m not telling anyone when the interview is, just to make you all suspicious.

March

The only thing planned for March is STRATFORD. Yeah, our English class/year are going on the annual Stratford-Upon-Avon trip over St. Patrick’s Day for 4 days. I now remember blogging about how I wasn’t able to go ages ago, but updated news, I now am, after much pleading and crying about missing out when everyone else is going except for me. It should be great, but again all my focus is going towards other happenings before it.

April

Is anything at all happening in April yet? I don’t think so. Hah, I might have my driving test. I should have all my offers back by now, so I’ll need to pick one and a ‘safety net’ one too and sort out accommodation God willing. Scary stuff.

May

Holy moly, we get Study Leave this month. And we have the most important night of our academic year: the Upper 6th Formal! I can imagine from February onwards I’ll begin preparing my outfit (I can’t buy a dress too soon because I don’t want my weight to alter too much) and also watching head girl Kerri get everything sorted, dear help her. It’s likely we have our I.C.T exam round this time too. Oh, and art practical too: the best day of the year.

June

Study leave continues for some. I don’t even know when my two english exams are but when they are over I will be out of school, which makes me very sad.

July

A holiday perhaps? Well if everything goes to plan for uni I will hopefully get a proper job and work to save up.

August

Same again. I’ll get my results, and tragically have to say some goodbyes. If I don’t die after that, I’ll begin panicking if I’m starting uni in less than a month. Jared made a tiny mistake here and put a photo of Jaejoong in instead of Mickey: easily done.

September

According to UCAS, all the courses I’ve applied for start on the 9th, so that’s where I will be then. I feel frightened already.

October

It’s hard to know now what’s going to happen. It’s actually impossible to guess. So I’m going to leave this one out.

November

Look, it’s Papa Rain. I wonder where this calendar will go when I go to uni?! I wonder will it even last til November.

December

Look, it’s Christmas again. This year is going to go past so quicky, ah, it's crazy.

- Claudia, happy.
